Hush puppies are the best (seriously, I've tried dozens) this side of the Mississippi and the po' boys are pretty amazing - I like the Andouille with spicy slaw and Pepperdoux's hot sauce. Highly recommend Terrebonne!

Stopped in for lunch today. I had the Western burger with a combo - total was $7.75. Very affordable, and I'd much rather get a burger from a local business than crappy BK or something for about the same price. Service was good, friendly cashier and they had my food out within 5 minutes during a busy lunch rush. The fries seemed hand cut and were great, my burger was cooked well and I enjoyed it. The manager and owner were checking on people and making sure their food was good, which is a nice touch. Good atmosphere, some outdoor seating, an affordable menu and quick service - a win in my book! I will definitely be back.

Wow! First off, free queso AND salsa to dip chips in! No other Mexican joint in Lawrence has that awesome amenity. The food was great, plenty for leftovers. Our server was very polite and attentive. She even brought us a paper bag and container to take the chips and salsa home with us!

I will DEFINITELY be coming back to El Potro. In addition, they offer a service where you can call in carry-out and pick it up at the drive thru window. Too cool!

Great shop! I can't say enough good things about Free State. Quick work, always friendly, upfront about costs, and Don, the manager, does a great job taking care of his customers. I have sent many of my friends and my girlfriend there and they are all also very happy with their service.

Wow. The service in this restaurant is absolutely miserable. I've worked in food service and understand that sometimes things take time, but when you're behind, you always inform the customer what's going on! I waited in the store for an hour on a pizza I was told would take ten minutes. When I finally flagged down an employee about 30 minutes in to waiting, she scowled at me and told me they were busy and it would be five more minutes. 25 minutes later... they handed me two pizzas. Notice above I only ordered one. Yeah, not gonna correct them on that problem. The good news is that the pizza was good!

I always enjoy the food at the Yacht Club. A good variety of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, wings, etc. There is sure to be something there you'll like and it won't break the bank.

Great customer service from Sunflower. They went out of their way to help me work with Yakima when I had problems with my roof rack. Definitely try and support a local business and get your outdoor gear here.

I ate lunch at Queen Lizzy's today and was greeted by the friendly owner, Matt. He was my server and I had my food within 10 minutes. Had the fish and chips - it was delicious. The fries were hot and crispy and my fish was steaming. I suggest ordering it with curry - it's delicious to pour on the fries and as I learned, it's a British tradition!

Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago - not sure what LarryNative was thinking, I thought it was great! The chips and queso are a steal at $3 for a big 'ol bag and I love their hot sauce. I was a little bit disappointed by the size of the 'jumbo' burrito - I was expecting Chipotle size or larger, but not the case. The next time I went, I got the tacos, which are a great size and I got two for $4, which filled me up just fine. I got them habanero style. The cilantro on them was delicious.

I think the innuendo aspect is funny. I could care less what their walls look like if the food is good. Ever been to Oklahoma Joes in KC? Biggest dump ever, but they win awards for their amazing food all the time. I'll be coming back to Fuzzy's!

Fun place to shoot trap, skeet or just pigeons. I wasn't sure at first, but they do only allow shotguns, so don't bring out anything else. Well priced for a fun afternoon of shooting.
