Coworkers at the health department are still talking about the taste test we did a week ago from Marisco's. I picked up the Roasted Vegetable Bucatini and the Smoked Salmon salad. Everyone loved the flavor of the pasta and the salad. The salmon salad was colorful with fresh spinach, dried apricots, pecans, and blue cheese. The honey mustard dressing added another great color and flavor. A number of people commented that they don't usually like salmon but loved the salad. The Roasted Vegetable Bucatini was rich without being heavy. We left off the cream to save the extra fat and calories and it still tasted wonderful.
