Free State Studios (formerly 6Productions) provides video production services to commerical and corporate clients as well as servicing the sales and marketing staffs at Sunflower Broadband in Lawrence, Kansas and KTKA 49ABC in Topeka, Kansas. Our award-winning staff produces over 300 hours of original programming yearly including our weekly cooking show Jayni's Kitchen; our home and garden program Home & Away; River City Weekly a look inside culture, politics and history; live music performances and interviews on The Turnpike; our game show, 1 on 1 Trivia and our nationally syndicated sports talk show The Drive. Free State Studios also provides the technical staff to support Lawrence's 6News for their live 6 and 10 newscasts, Headline News Local Edition, Morning Weather Updates, Election and breaking news and weather segments. Our remote production crew work with 6Sports to showcase the High School Game of the Week as well as bring live coverage of KU women's basketball and replays of KU football and KU men's basketball to Sunflower Broadband Channel 6.
