Lawrence police will get new detective

Lawrence Man Enters Guilty Plea for June Attack
William Nichols, 30, fondled and attacked a woman riding her bike on a trail near Clinton Lake last summer. Today he pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual battery and aggravated battery.
