    I'd still vote for the game in Norman last year even if it wasn't his all time highest points total. He carried us to that win, on the road, against a top ten team.

    That Norman game was incredible. I remember yelling at him through the TV at the end for at least two of those last threes, especially the one from the OK/KS border, but dammit if they didn't keep going in.

    I might still make the case for the 2008 championship, though. He didn't have the stats, but he won that game for us with the steal and 3 combo as much as Chalmers did with that 3 at the end. As much as I like the last second heroics, without that play that Collins made we were toast.

    Anyway, I opine that Collins is, hands down, the best collegiate player of the Self era.

    His best game was the national championship. His in bounds steal and his assist to Mario were just as important as "the shot". Mario can make 3's all day long. Getting Mario the ball.....that was a miracle.

    Well said. I'd even go a bit further. Sherron is the best point guard in the nation.
