I agree BABBOY.
I don't know how Swine Flu (which has had 50 cases in 50 states, none of which have been serious or fatal) is a public health emergency, worthy of 24 hour news coverage, when much worse illnesses are being contracted and killing people hourly.
The news companies are trying to make headlines...I doubt they give a rats butt if people actually are hurt or die from it, whatever can get them more viewers.
I honestly don't think we have much to worry about. If we get it, then hopefully we'll be fortunate enough to see a doctor and get treated, just like any other minor illness or flu. It's unfortunate that people have died in other parts of the world, but theres NO SENSE in getting everyone worked up about something that currently hasn't severly effected anyone in our region. We should know about it, sure, but, the constant worrying and news coverage isn't doing anyone any good.

Yes. As painful as it was, I ended my torrid affair with that pig and told him to take his germs elsewhere.

I have four of my 5 grandchildren (which I lovingly refer to as "outbreak monkeys") living with me and since they tend to drag home every bug they catch at school, handwashing has become a BIG priority in our house.

my precaution: I shot the paperboy, I could tell by the look in his eye and the curve of his mouth he was a vector. who knows how many lives I've just saved.
