Kansas University quarterbacks Michael Cummings, left, and Dayne Crist will both play on Saturday at Oklahoma, KU coach Charlie Weis announced on Tuesday. "I owe it to my team, and I owe it to all the Kansas supporters to put the best product on the field. I think Michael deserves an opportunity to play," Weis said, though he did not divulge which QB would start against the Sooners.

From left, Curt Shontz, Michelle Chronister and Stephen Chronister, DDS, hold up a check for $7,987 made out to Just Food of Douglas County. Donations were collected from the fourth annual Rev It Up! Hot Rod Hullabaloo on Aug. 11 in South Park. The money raised will provide for nearly 10,000 meals for the undernourished in Douglas County. The show drew more than 300 hot rods, custom cars, classic cars, and motorcycles. Nearly 800 people attended the event, which featured live bands and an Elvis impersonation contest.
