I learned that my front left what-ever-it’s call tooth is VERY sensitive and I never want it touched again. I’m supposed to use sensitive toothpaste from now on. As it is, air hurts it. But there’s no cavity.

Still, a couple weeks ago, as the goodnight stretched on and on, a light bulb went on in my head. I realized that you wouldn’t always want to tell me some fascinating fact about a dinosaur or share the silly thing your friend said at school. Inside the station, Jade Sanchez, 24, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, drifts in and out of sleep to the sound of train bells in the distance. “It’s too normal here, I’m ready to go home,” said Sanchez.
