Smarty cakes made two cakes for me for our wedding day. We had a cake tasting beforehand where she allowed us to choose several options to try. She was really easy and accommodating to work with. She is also very quick to respond. She made sure we were getting exactly what we had in mind. She arrived on our wedding day and set up two beautiful cakes- - a blueberry velvet and lemon butter cream. I heard endless praise from our guests as to how delicious the cake turned out. Also, Danielle's prices are very reasonable, which was perfect for our small budget wedding. We are very happy we found her and highly recommend her work!
I can't say enough good things about the Merc! They have delicious deli foods and salad bar for lunch or dinner. I consider the Merc a "real" grocery store because of their local produce and meat. You can't go wrong here.
I would give no stars if I could. I came to this Jiffy Lube location last Friday for an oil change. They called when servicing my car to attempting to up-sale the service stating my anti-freeze read as "deemed unsafe". I've done some research to find no information on coolant ever being unsafe. I find this particularly odd because my radiator was just replaced with all new fluid only a month ago. During this phone call I first noticed the severe problem with their phone system. During the whole conversation there was a clicking problem that made it extremely hard to communicate. I When I came to pick up my car they informed me that their credit card machine was down. They admitted to me they should have informed me when I arrived that I would need another source for payment. I didn't have one- and explained I had an appointment that I needed to get to so they allowed me to take my car without payment with promise I'd return before they closed at 7. It was 5 then. They called me literally every three-five minutes from the time I left until 6:30 when I was done with my appointment and was able to answer. Apparently their machine had begin working so I paid by phone. The person I talked to had just finished telling me how his supervisor was "coming down" on him for having so many open tickets. I told him I realized the problem with the machine was out of his control but I didn't feel like they were dealing with it in a professional way and I wanted to speak to his manager. He then told me HE was the manager. I expressed my complaints to him, including their phone problem, calmly and he said "God, girl! I don't need you yelling at me. I already have all of these people threatening to kick my ass. I'll be contacting the police department to deal with you." I asked him his reasoning for contacting the police after I had already paid for a $65 oil change (I've never had to pay this much for an oil change before by the way. I don't even know what services I was paying for as they wouldn't print out a ticket for me while I was there.) I told him I felt that it was my responsibility as a customer to let the manager know when I'm not happy with their service. He barely apologized for the inconveniences. Mostly made excesses. He apparently never called the police as he threatened. I'm not sure what they could do anyway. He did offer me coupons I'll never use- as I'll never return to this jiffy lube again. Save yourself a huge headache and stay away from this place!
I LOVE Noodles and company. The service is great. I had a problem with my order on one occasion. When I contacted Noodles and Co. they gave me two entire meals for free along with their apologies and gratitude that I had returned to their establishment. They have many choices to fit every taste... my personal favorite is the Mediterranean salad! Yum! Two people can eat at Noodles and Co. for less than $15 and it's worth every penny.
I was really looking forward to trying 715. Unfortunately when I did I received poor service and was not at all impressed with the food. Perhaps I made a poor choice from the menu (I had the cheese pizza) but the others that I dined with didn't enjoy their meals either.
Seeing the word "cookies" from afar brought me to this establishment. I'm so glad I decided to stop in. They have every variety of cookie you can think of! Their 4" cookies are 1$ each- perfect for a cookie craving and your pocketbook!
UPDATE I wrote Body Boutique a horrible review two years ago. I had an awful experience when my contract ended. What a mess! I'm going to forgive and forget, though. I have signed a new contract in hopes for a better experience this go around. I've been told that the external billing company is different now. I was able to get a really great introductory offer. Also, they're remodeling and making the facility twice as large. So, I think it will be more worth the money at that point. I've taken my review from one star to three. I'll update again as I see fit.
I'm editing this review because I liked Body Boutique until I attempted ending my membership. I received different answers from each person I talked to there about when my contract ended and what I had to do to get out of it. You're required to send a certified letter to an external company to be relieved from your contract even if it's up. Body boutique gave me the information and told me a specific month to contact the external company to terminate my account. When I called the external company at the instructed time, they told me that I should have called months ago. You're required to pay for three months after the cancellation letter is received. When I called to complain to b.b. that their staff gave me inconsistent and incorrect information I was consistently interrupted and told that I was giving untrue information according to their phone records. They are so confident in their staff that they continued to tell me that this employee whom has worked there for years wouldn't give me false information. I felt as if this woman was flat out calling me a lair. She insisted that I was told to call months ago which was absolutely not true. Yes, they gave the information to call months ago when I requested it but they instructed me to call when my membership was up, gave me that date, and didn't say a word about the letter. If they told me to contact the company then I definitely would have, it was for money issues that I wanted to cancel my membership in the first place. I will have to pay over 100 dollars more because their staff, conveniently for them, gave me the wrong information. What a disappointment... after all of the great recommendations I've given this place then they treat me like that! I discourage anyone I can from getting a membership here. Go to maximus where you can pay month by month and not be treated like you're a liar.
