The Welcome Club of Lawrence provides wonderful opportunities to women of Lawrence to meet each other while participating in their favorite activities.
Our activities are many and as varied as our members, All members are welcome to attend any activity. Non-members may attend up to three activities before joining.
Dues are $20 per year ($15 for age 65 and over).
We have a monthly luncheon with entertaining and enlightening programs, including an annual potluck lunch and fundraiser for a local charity.
Activities include Bridge, Canasta, Bunco and Mah Jongg game groups, as well as Tai Chi, golf, and walking groups. We also have three book clubs and a movie group and several lunch and dinner groups. Once a month we have an outing to a nearby attraction. We call it "Let's Go on an Adventure",
