Kathie is a lifetime resident of Kansas, She is the mother of 3 daughters. Her husband, Patrick Nichols is an attorney and mediator. She enjoys spending time painting, running with her daughter Ami, working in the yard and taking care of her 2 dogs, Bo and Bentley. DR. NICHOLS' BIO Dr. Nichols is a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in child and adolescent psychology. Her wide-ranging experience includes clinical therapy with children and families including parent adolescent counseling, individual therapy, counseling the children of deployed military families, psychological testing of children and adolescents as well as management of hospital and institutional behavioral health programs. In her private clinical practice, she is engaged in testing and assessment, psychological evaluations, parenting assessments, personal consultations, sports medicine evaluation and assessment, as well as extensive mediation and child and family psychotherapy. She earned her doctoral degree as a graduate of the prestigious University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology program, one of only five such programs offering a focused, dedicated degree program for child and adolescent psychology. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Professional Psychologists. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. She is a state approved domestic mediator.
