Gather your friends and family for good fun and great food ... and help raise money for the Douglas County Animal Response Team (DCART). DCART, owned and operated by the Lawrence Humane Society, was formed in 2009 to respond to animals who become victims of natural or manmade disasters.
From Sunday, June 7, through Sunday, June 14, you can go Bowling for DCART at Royal Crest Lanes (three games for $10; includes shoes). Half of all proceeds during that week will go to DCART! You do not need to bring a flyer or coupon, but you must tell the check-in clerk you are “bowling for DCART.”
