To help pets reunite with their owners, it’s important that all animals wear tags and/or have microchips. On Saturday, April 4, the Lawrence Humane Society is offering a special microchip day both at the shelter and at Petco in Lawrence. For $20 we will microchip your pet. The Humane Society also is giving away ID tags and free collars while supplies last. On Tag Day, April 4, visit the shelter at 1805 E. 19th Street (11:30 to 5:00) or Petco at 3115 Iowa (noon to 4:00). Let’s do everything we can to make sure lost pets can always go home again.
