He most recently served as Sr. VP/Commercial Loan Officer with First State Bank & Trust. In his new role, Derby will continue to be involved in commercial banking while leading Lawrence market wide initiatives. Derby has over 20 years of banking experience and is an active community member with service on the Board's for Junior Achievement, Lawrence Humane Society, and Meals on Wheels among others.
