I brought my bike in to get a few things looked at and they helped me right away. Everyone was friendly and answered my lame bike-beginner questions. They gave me lots of advice and didn't charge me for fixing the minor issues I was having with my bike. The store is nice and has lots of neat stuff.
The shop is one of the cheapest you will find in Lawrence, which is a good thing. The problem is, you truly get what you pay for. The quality of the work done my bike was poor, they fixed and repaired things that I did not ask for (and tried to make me pay for it, I didn't), but they do have good initial customer service. That changes when they see you are not going to pay for repairs you didn't ask for. The tune-up was $50, and my tires were not trued, the gears didn't shift smoothly, and after a week small parts they put on began to fall off. I would say I got what I paid for, but you can get far better work done on your bike for less if you drive to Lenexa. So I am not completely negative, their shop guys are very nice and it is a clean store.
