Bryant Collision Repair
One word: HONEST.
I had a minor accident on my Camry right at the busiest moment of my life: The birth of a child. The front bumper was damaged, plus a bunch of other stuffs. There are more things to repair than the bumper. My car was in the workshop for less than a week right on the second day when my baby was born. I don't have a collision coverage... He quoted me a price that is affordable to me, and not giving me those extras (like all brand new parts) that you normally get when you have insurance. But there's simply no difference! The car drives like it used to be.... excellent workmanship! Too bad.... they don't do auto repair, just collision repair.
I've had Bryant's take care of a number of small jobs on my vehicles over the last eight years or so. I highly recommend working with Mike Bryant. He responds promptly and always takes the time to walk you through your options in a friendly and no-pressure environment. The work has been done right the first time and done on time. I have several times just asked him for his opinion about an issue with my vehicle and he is always spot on with his advice, even when there is no financial gain in the matter for him. Just a great Lawrence business run by a really helpful guy.
Got a huge dent in my new car while parked in a parking lot. Took in to Bryant's and was fixed very quickly, but more importantly, the car looked exactly like it did before I got the dent. Very good quality work there and even though I hope I don't have to use them again, I will if the need arises!
Bryant Collision Repair did a quality repair on my car eventually... Overall I'm happy with the work that Bryant did on my vehicle however the process of getting to the end product was a nightmare. The staff at Bryant gave numerous estimates on when the work on my car would be complete and not a single one of them were correct. When I first brought my car in I was told 2 weeks tops, and then it ended up taking over a month to get my car back. Not once throughout this process did Bryant take any responsibility for any of these delays but rather blamed a multitude of other people such as the insurance adjuster and parts suppliers. This was despite the fact that my insurance adjuster provided a first and second estimate less than 24 hrs after when Bryant requested it. When I finally did pick my car up I found that the repairs were not in fact completed and that my car was not safe to drive with problems such as no headlights and turn signals among other problems. Finally two days after bringing my vehicle back a second time everything was fixed, and once it was fixed correctly the quality of the repairs was high. Oh and to top it off they charged me more than what I was originally told my deductible would be. Despite good quality work after much delay and headache I would never use Bryant again.
Bryant's made my car as good as new! I had wrecked my car to the point that the insurance company considered the cost to fix it was more than the car was worth. So they only paid the value of the car. I had to come up with the difference if I wanted to keep my car. The difference was about $1,500. But after asking Bryant's about the possibility of using used parts where possible and where safe, they searched around and found me a good deal. I actually ended up paying just under $100 difference instead of $1,500.
I was so happy when I got my car back from Bryant's. They did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them for good honest work.
