Ms. Lawson is a 2nd Degree Black Belt. She began her training in another style of Taekwondo in Massachusetts in 1993. When she graduated from high school, she moved to Maine to attend the University of Maine. In 2007, she graduated with a degree in Land Surveying, but promptly moved to Kansas with her fiance to manage the Lawrence ATA Black Belt Academy. Ms. Lawson is CPR-certified, certified in Single Ssahng Jeol Bong, Double Ssahng Jeol Bong, and Disruptive Student Management.
