Since the inception of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity in 1989 sixty-eight homes have been completed in Lawrence, housing nearly 163 adults and children with the help of over 3,000 volunteers.
One hundred percent of a restricted contribution goes to the construction of a home. Ninety-one percent of an unrestricted contribution goes to the construction of a home with nine percent supporting your local Habitat Affiliate.
Lawrence Habitat ReStore sells reusable and surplus building materials to the public, using the proceeds to fund local Habitat house construction. Help save your money, neighborhood, community and the earth shop and donate to the ReStore.
