Account Executive
Mediaphormedia is the award-winning software division of The World Company, a communications and media company based in Lawrence, Kansas (Lawrence Journal-World, Sunflower Broadband, 49 News). Mediaphormedia, widely considered to be one of the most innovative news and media organizations in the country employing some of the best and brightest online media developers, is seeking a Sales and Account Executive for its software sales team. This position will work with clients and prospective clients to showcase our solutions, perform market research, create competitive analysis for targeted customers and develop new while managing existing relationships.
This position will work exclusively with sales
for Ellington ( http://ellingtoncms.com ), our content management platform targeted at the news and media industries around the world. As a commercial product, it's rapidly gaining traction in the news industry ( www.ellingtoncms.com )
The ideal candidate is a motivated, team-oriented sales person with a working knowledge of computers and various computer systems who can take the initiative to consistently meet sales goals. Candidate should have excellent sales and communication skills and be able to make compelling presentations to clients. At least one year business-to- business sales experience and/or technical support experience, required. Prior knowledge and experience in software and software sales, preferred. Ability to travel at least once a month, required.
