A federal jury found the co-owner of Yellow House guilty of 16 charges in a stolen-property case. The owner would buy items from her store and then resell the items online.

Hut built at KU for Jewish celebration
Members of the local Jewish community worked together on the KU campus to construct a hut that will be used in observing a religious holiday. The huts are part of the Sukkot tradition.

Student arrested for images on hard drive
A high school student at Holton is in custody after sexually explicit photos were found on his personal hard drive. The student caused damage to school property when he was confronted about the issue.

Two injured in morning accident on K-10
Two people were injured in an accident on K-10 Wednesday morning. One patient was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital while the other was in stable condition at Overland Park Regional Hospital.

Search team finds body in Clinton Lake
A search team discovered the body of a woman in a vehicle pulled from Clinton Lake. The identity of the person has not been released and foul play does not appear to be a factor in the death.

New project to make traffic signals better

Simien to join Hall of Athletics
Wayne Simien will be added to the KU Hall of Athletics this coming Saturday. Simien will be recognized both as an individual and as part of the 2003 basketball team, the first under Bill Self.
