LMH stepping up sexual assault care
Lawrence Memorial Hospital has made improvements in the way it cares for victims of sexual assault. The hospital has treated all 18 patients in town this year as opposed to sending several cases outside the city in 2009.

Fossil hunter pushing for state fossil

Police searching for robbery suspect
Police are looking for a man who robbed Maurice's in Lawrence while armed with a pistol. The incident is the second armed robbery in as many days.

A man struck by a vehicle while jaywalking Tuesday night was cited for the crime Wednesday. The man was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
