Stabbing suspect given serious charges

The man arrested for stabbing and attempting to rape a woman on a Lawrence bike path was given the most serious of charges in court Friday. The man's bond was set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to appear back in court on Tuesday.

Man enters plea agreement in January case

A man accused of pointing a shotgun at people and then driving into a utility pole in January reached a plea agreement in the Douglas County District Court Friday. Sentencing is scheduled for July 30.
