State leaders considering KU cigarette ban
State leaders are considering banning the sale of tobacco products on the Kansas University campus. Kansas and K-State are currently the only Board of Regents institutions that allow tobacco sales on campus.

Man arrested after Sunday night fight
A Lawrence man was arrested after leaving the scene of a fight outside Royal Crest Lanes Sunday night. The man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and aggravated weapons violations.
