Lawrence seventh-grader defends state geography bee crown

South Junior High seventh-grader Stefan Petrovic successfully defended his crown at Friday's state National Geographic Bee in Abilene. Petrovic will now head to Washington, D.C., for a chance at a $25,000 scholarship. In this video taken after Petrovic's win last year, the then 12 year old teaches Journal-World reporter Shaun Hittle some lessons in an impromptu geography bee.
