Commuter Forecast for Feb. 6, 2009

Most of the region is looking at typical traffic situations for rush hour. Windy conditions may cause problems for high-profile vehicles and there could be a slowdown for traffic along I-435 and Roe for bridge repair work as well as near US-69 and 435. Backups are possible around K-7 and Prairie Star Parkway as well as Parallel Parkway and State Avenue as crews will reduce traffic to one lane for pavement repair. Most construction is expected to be wrapped up before the rush hour.
