Fire at Granada clears building

Guests at the Granada in downtown Lawrence evacuated the building after something inside caught fire. Witnesses said everyone made it out without injury and the fire was reported to have been small, causing little damage.

Police release information on weekend shooting

Police released information Wednesday regarding the shooting incident that occurred during the weekend. The two men who were transported via air ambulance to Kansas City area hospitals were reportedly trying to rob the man who shot them.

Charges filed in morning robbery

Charges of aggravated robbery and burglary were placed on the homeless man who robbed a Lawrence resident. No one was seriously injured in the incident.

KU being catious with swine flu

Health officials at Kansas University are urging students with symptoms to simply call the medical center. The university hopes it will help stop the spread of the virus by keeping those with potential symptoms away from public areas. 191 people have reported flu-like symptoms since the beginning of the semester.

Granada evacuated because of fire
