Here comes the warm stuff: winds will turn to the south, Wednesday; combined with generally sunny skies, temperatures will soar to near 80 degrees across the area. Do not be surprised, however, to see a few clouds and perhaps a very early morning sprinkle. A slightly better chance of a shower or storm is not out of the question later Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, as more humid air works into Northeast Kansas. Lows Wednesday night will reflect the increase in moisture; around 55 degrees.
