Met Reagan in the mid 80's when he came to Shawnee Mission Northwest to give a speech. I was a cop at the time and was aiding in security for the visit. After the speech he talked with the security detail briefly and shook our hands. Greatest President who ever lived.

I met Ford sitting in a golf cart. He was no longer president but he was sitting.

Billy Johnson was our class president. I can't remember if he was sitting or standing when we first met in the 1st grade.

Met Clinton when he was governor (standing). My daughter met him when he was pres (standing). He made her uncomfortable. Maybe if he'd been sitting . . .

Clinton, at a church service at Foundry United Methodist in DC. Hillary and Chelsea were with him.

No presidents but I can do better. I drank a beer once with Dale Earnhardt. He took a chicken leg off my grill and threw it at Dale Jr. who happened by. Junebug caught it and munched on it as he walked on. "Damn good", he said. Interaction like that doesn't happen anymore.
