Please do not buy alcohol for my teen aged daughter!
Is she hot?
Please educate your daughter so she knows better than to ask a stranger to buy her alcohol.
When I was in high school back in the dark ages, I looked about 12 years old. My buddy looked 30. He did the buying.
Have people never gone to college? It's pretty routine for 21 year olds to buy for their 20 year old friends/roommates...
The real question is "Have you ever purchased alcohol for someone who was under drinking age?" I am old enough to have legally purchased 3.2 beer beginning at age 18, and have legally bought rounds for similar aged friends.
When the police station was on Vermont Street back in the 60's there was a drive thru liquor store 1/2 block south where I and a few of my high school friends would buy our booze. I have never bought for someone else though.
After reading the above, I need to change my response to yes.
My college roommates brother turned 18 the year the legal drinking age started increasing in one year increments on July 1. His birthday was June 27 so for three years he could legally purchase alcohol for three days before the drinking age went up a year. We bought alcohol for him during the other 362 days of the year.
Yes back when I was 21-22 I did for my friends that were still underage. I also took their keys before I handed them a beer and locked them in my safe until they were good enough to drive, now only if I did that to myself my insurance wouldn't be so high
I was 14, bought lime flavored vodka for myself and friends. It might be the reason i don't drink booze today. Awful sick.
Absolutely! Did it for both nephews. I threw them both house parties when they came back from Iraq and Afghanistan on leave. I figured, they were able to spend time over in that hell for us, the least we could do it throw them a bash. I didn't let any of their friends drink in my house if they were under age, or drink booze I had purchased and my nephews weren't allowed to leave til the next day when they were sober. Maybe if we stop putting so much taboo on alcohol, the kids will stop wanting it so much. Young people always want what they are told they cannot have.
It should have said for someone under the drinking age. I bought plenty back when 18 was legal.
