I KNOW I AM IN THE MINORITY, BUT I STILL ENJOY READING MY DAILY PAPER. I DO STILL ENJOY A MAGAZINE.

From KU's server breakdown yesterday, it would definitely have to be internet.

hell, i've gone w/out ALL of the aforementioned medias... and sometimes, all of them at ONCE! i mean, you can still pick up a book or magazine-- go for a walk-- go to the gym-- play w/ your children-- clean house-- take a bike ride-- visit a friend. and none of that requires any of those medias.

I agree! I recently went without any communication for about 10 days...by choice. I read books; about one per day. It was wonderfully peaceful and renewing.

I could go several days without all except television.
Bad habit that got started when I was a kid. Parents let me watch anything (as long as I was quiet) except Helter Skelter and Valley of the Dolls when the movie was shown on TV.

books, games, radio, television can all be integrated into your internet and/or your cell phone, internet, books radio can all be integrated to your TV,

...

This poll does not reflect the modern integration of techology.

I've gone without all these things for long periods of time and wasn't bothered one bit. It isn't really roughing it if you are sleeping in a tent outside but playing games on your laptop. Ditch anything that requires electricity if you want to really enjoy camping.

This being an internet poll, the results are neither surprising, nor likely representative of the population at large.
