Fall temperatures have brought morning fog. This was taken September 5, 2008 from our front door.
Ice from a storm this past winter coats a small table with a bit of barbed wire left there from the fall.
This cell phone picture was taken looking east at 21st and Alabama in Lawrence at 5:45 p.m. Friday evening.
Around 5 p.m. I got home from work, and got out of my truck to feel a little heat temperature, with no wind or rain. I turned around and saw the tornado just start to touch on the ground about a quarter of a mile from my house (Eudora). I ran to the house and told my family go to the basement right away. There's no damage here.
As sun started going down, I noticed the sky was an orangish color. I went outside and toward the east there was a beautiful, huge rainbow.
A double rainbow from Sept. 13 at 7:45 p.m. Beautiful and too spectacular to capture in the lens of my camera.
