Stormwater covers the intersection at 23rd Street and Ousdahl Road early Sunday afternoon, although the intersection remained passable. Sunday’s storms caused minor street flooding in town, but both the Kansas and Wakarusa rivers remained well below flood stage, according to the National Weather Service. Flooding was more of a road hazard in Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties, where Kansas Highway 5 was under water and closed on Sunday afternoon.
