Bob Cannard works on his organic farm in California. Cannard, who has been a part of the food system created by Chez Panisse’s Alice Waters, believes wholeheartedly that locally grown food is best. “The quality of our food is measured by how it will ship rather than how it tastes,” he says of modern food production.
