Buffalo Bob's BBQ Smokehouse has received the prestigious FOUR PIG BBQ rating!~

A Little History Buffalo Bob's opened in 1977 under the name of Old Carpenter Hall Smokehouse in the north half of the building it currently occupies. The building had been owned by the local Carpenter's Union for many years. In 1980 there was a significant fire that burned the roof and most of the second floor. The fire damage caused the south building to be vacated and thus became available for expansion by the Smokehouse.

After the destructive effect of the fire, the renovation and expansion created the desire to rename the rejuvenated business. The buffalo is a famous indigenous Kansas mammal, the owner is Bob, and the atmosphere is that of a rustic hunting lodge, hence the name "Buffalo Bob's Smokehouse". Not only has the name remained, but the same delicious fare has been featured for more than 25 wonderful years!
