SILVER WORKS and MORE closed its storefront in January 2009 after 35 years of business in Downtown Lawrence. However, we still have a presence in Downtown Lawrence with Jim Connelly's jewelry available in two locations. Jim's sterling silver jewelry is represented by Spectator's at 710 Massachusetts and his gold jewelry is displayed with Marks Jewelers at 817 Massachusetts. This includes the contemporary Jayhawk jewelry - silver at Spectators and gold at Marks Jewelers.

SILVER WORKS and MORE history:
Jim Connelly attained his graduate degree in metalsmithing from The University of Kansas in 1972 & opened SILVER WORKS in April of 1974 as a studio/gallery in The Casbah. In 1985, SILVER WORKS and MORE relocated to 715 Massachusetts St. and expanded its inventory to reresent artists nationwide. During his years in business, Jim has exhibited his work in California, Canada, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, and New York.
