Offering standard American and Mexican dishes, the restaurant's Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree has been a trademark of the Ramada Inn Lawrence since it was opened in 1970. In Fact, the Fidle Leaf Fig Tree was originally planted in the hotel lobby when the property was being built and is fed by an underground stream.
While many things have changed in Lawrence over the years, the Fiddle Leaf Tree has endured...and thrived. It absolutely overwhelms a very spacious atrium, and makes climbing the stairs like ascending through a rainforrest.
The Tree has seen many a couple among its branches for wedding photos. In 2001 the hotel changed the name of its restaurant to the Fiddle Leaf Cafe. Say hello as you pass the Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree.
