About Michelle:

I believe that a doctor's job is to educate her patients so that they can take an active role in their health. I have always loved school and becoming a doctor is like becoming a student forever. Sometimes, I learn interesting things from textbooks and journals. More often, my patients' thoughts and insights teach me. My goal is to provide education along with safe and effective care to all of my patients. I want each patient to feel like she has had her problems addressed and questions answered when she walks out of our office.

On a personal note, I am also learning everyday from my children. I have two daughters named Ava and Tessa. They both bring me so much joy by letting me stop and enjoy some of the moments of wonder in the world from a child's perspective. My main focus outside of work is being with my children and husband. We love taking the children to the park, pool, on long nature walks and just hanging out at home and playing. My husband is a great hands on daddy who is my best friend and helps me balance my work and play. My personal interests include; reading both fiction and non-fiction, gardening and cooking. I also love to travel and hope to make many trips with my children as they get older.
