The shop is one of the cheapest you will find in Lawrence, which is a good thing. The problem is, you truly get what you pay for. The quality of the work done my bike was poor, they fixed and repaired things that I did not ask for (and tried to make me pay for it, I didn't), but they do have good initial customer service. That changes when they see you are not going to pay for repairs you didn't ask for. The tune-up was $50, and my tires were not trued, the gears didn't shift smoothly, and after a week small parts they put on began to fall off. I would say I got what I paid for, but you can get far better work done on your bike for less if you drive to Lenexa. So I am not completely negative, their shop guys are very nice and it is a clean store.

I am Cycle Work’s owner, Gary Long, and I am very disappointed that your experience at our shop led you to such an unusual and negative review. This shop has been built upon almost 40 years of offering the best possible service at the fairest possible price. We have always stood behind our work 100%. If there is an issue with our work or simply a misunderstanding, we will do everything possible to make it right. Will you please respond to yesterday's personal email requesting we be allowed to do so? cyclwrks@sunflower.com Thank you.
