Donna and Robert Laushman
Donna and Robert Laushman, Lawrence, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with family this summer.
They were married on June 25, 1947, in Austin, Minn.
The couple met at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Donna was a homemaker, taught piano and marimba, and was a Audio Reader volunteer for 28 years. Bob was a district sales manager for the Selmer Band Instrument Co. in Elkhart, Ind. He played the trumpet for many years with the Lawrence City Band and the Jazzhaus Swing Band.
They had four sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Joan and Pete Anderson
Pete and Joan Anderson, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 30 at the Union Pacific Depot, 402 N. Second St., Lawrence.
Joan Lobb and Pete Anderson were married June 29, 1962, at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University with the Rev. Ron Smith officiating.
Pete retired from Maupintour Inc. in 1999 after 35 years. Joan was a teller at First National Bank and retired from Anderson Retail in 1995.
The couple have two sons, Craig and Todd, both of Lawrence; and two granddaughters.

Taylor and Justin Hahn
Taylor Anne Lowderman, Wichita, and Justin Lee Hahn, Lawrence, were married June 9, 2012, at their home, with the Rev. Hal Lemert officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mick Lowderman and Lisa Hawkins, both of Wichita.
The groom is the son of Jody Hahn and Brenda Jardon, both of Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Brooke Burns. Best man was Jimmy Hahn.
A reception followed at the couples’ home.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Wichita High School East. She earned an associate degree in general studies from Johnson County Community College and is a leasing agent for Campus Court Apartments.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Free State High School and is a crane operator for Polk Crane Service.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Crystal Walker and Matthew Britton
Randy Walker, Brookville, Ind., and Kimberly Walker, Edgerton, along with Kendall Britton, Salina, and Doug and Jeanine Brannan, Hutchinson, announce the engagement of their children, Crystal Walker and Matthew Britton, both of Lawrence.
The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Anderson County High School in Garnett. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Neosho County Community College in 2004 and is a registered nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Fairfield High School in Langdon. He graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2007 and became a certified radiologic technologist. He earned a bachelor’s degree in medical business administration from Washburn University in 2011 and is a magnetic resonance imaging technologist at LMH.
The couple plan a Nov. 3, 2012, wedding in Lawrence.

Alyssa D. Gleason and Ian C. Black, both of Baldwin City, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Sheryl Gleason, Oxford. She is a 2001 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. She attended Highland Community College and the University of Phoenix, and is an office manager at Free State Dermatology in Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of Bradley and Rhonda Black, Baldwin City. He is a 1989 graduate of Baldwin High School and is a custom fabricator at Extreme Performance in Palm City, Fla.
The couple plan a September 2012 wedding.
