The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from Kansas University, and a master’s degree in political management, with a concentration in fundraising, from The George Washington University. She is an account executive at Grizzard Communications.
The future groom is the son of David and Charlotte Collins, Danville, Pa. He is also a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from KU and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia. He is a product manager at Spalding.
The couple plan a June 5, 2010, wedding in Lawrence.

Camille and Russell Wheeler, Lawrence, and Mike and Pam Anderson, Alma, along with Fred and Julie Lienemann, Marysville, announce the engagement of their children, Kassidi M. Anderson and Matthew W. Lienemann, both of Wamego.
The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Free State High School and Z Cosmetology. She is employed at Head First Salon in Wamego.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Marysville High School and Southeast Community College Technical College in Milford, Neb. He is employed at Bruna Implement in Marysville.
The couple plan an April 24, 2010, wedding in Manhattan.

Lori Morris announces the engagement of her daughter, Jessica A. Morris, both of Lawrence, to Jeren L. Fullmore, Pearson, Ga.
The future bride is also the daughter of Shelley Morris, Spirit Lake, Iowa. She is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School and is employed with Printing Solutions in Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of George D. Fullmore, Pearson, and Lashanda R. Williams, Heidelberg, Germany. He is a 2007 graduate of Atkinson County High School in Pearson, and is a military police officer in the U.S. Army.
The couple plan an Aug. 7, 2010, wedding in Lawrence.

Karen Bodach, Joliet, Ill., and David Bireta, Lawrence, were married June 13, 2009, at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Joliet, with the Rev. John Hennessey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William and Patricia Bodach, Joliet.
The groom is the son of Rich and Jane Bireta, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Theresa Bodach. Best man was Matt Wilden. Bridesmaids were Maureen Hrdlicka, Iris Caldwell, Melissa Jenco and Amy Simpson. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Hartke. Groomsmen were Chris Johnson, Paul Bireta, Mike Trice and Jeff Serbus. Junior groomsman was Andrew Bireta. Flower girl was Ellie Bodach. Ringbearer was Jacob Bireta. Ushers were Brandon Williams and Ryan Rathje. Guestbook attendants were Rosemary Hardy and Annie Bodach. Readers were Anne Marie Bireta, Devon Bireta and Sandy Schneider. Vocal soloist was Theresa Bodach. A bass clarinet prelude was given by Margaret Bireta.
A reception was given at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook, Ill.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, and a master’s degree in environmental engineering, both from Iowa State University. She is an environmental engineer at Underwriters Laboratories.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science at Iowa State and is a software engineer at Stats, LLC.
The couple reside in Schaumburg, Ill.

Billy and Elaine Rogers, Wellsville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday at 14516 S. Alden St., Olathe.
Billy F. Rogers and Elaine Hickock were married Feb. 26, 1960, in Lawrence.
He is a retired electrician for Kansas Power and Light.
The couple have two sons, Alan, Hutchinson, and Bruce, Broken Arrow, Okla.; three daughters, Tami Lucas, Edmond, Okla., Anita Rogers, Wellsville, and Angela Wright, Olathe; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
