Leland (Lee) and Carol Milroy will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with friends and family at Wellsville Community Center.
They were married April 27, 1958, in Winchester.
They have three children: Janice Caruthers, Wellsville; Larry Milroy, Emporia; and Jim Milroy, Gardner.
They have five grandchildren.
The couple reside in Wellsville.
They request no gifts.

Bob and Judy Saathoff will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Building 21, today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren.
Bob and Judy Saathoff were married May 30, 1958, in Lawrence.
Bob is employed with Lawrence Paper Company. Judy is employed at South Junior High School, in food services, and Assisted Health Care.
They have two children: Larry and Sheryl Saathoff, Lawrence; and Gary Saathoff, Lawrence.
They have three grandchildren.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Mike and Mary Higgins, Lawrence, and the late Tom Crum. He is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and is employed with Montgomery Door Controls Inc.

The future bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education from Kansas State University. She received a Master of Science degree in special education from Kansas University. She is a teacher for the Shawnee Mission school district.
The future groom received his Bachelor of Science degree in business and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University. He is a business developer for Key Construction.
The couple plan a July 4, 2008, wedding in St. Lucia.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Lafayette High School, Ballwin, Mo. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology from Truman State University in 2006. He is a production supervisor for Abbott Laboratories, Chicago.
The couple plan a July 2008 wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lawrence.
