The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Joan Myers, Lawrence, and Debra Myers, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of William and Margaret McNamee, Leavenworth.
Maid of honor was Anna Hosek. Best man was Scott Tinkham. Bridesmaids were Nicole Davis, Kathleen Jacobsen, Elizabeth McNamee, Kelly Richey and Kristen Schell. Groomsmen were Tarek Baghal, Jonathan Davis, John Keeley, Marcus Moilanen and Kenny Myers.
Flower girl was Abigail Roberts. Ring bearer was Brody Heimke. Harpist was Justine Ahle. Choir was Free State Chamber Singers.
A reception followed at Kansas University's Adams Alumni Center.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Free State High School. She received a bachelor's degree in music education from KU in 2006. She is a music teacher at Venetucci Elementary School, Colorado Springs, Colo.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Immaculata High School in Leavenworth. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial design in 2006 from KU. He is an applications research engineer for the Gates Corp., Denver, Colo.
The couple reside in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Guy and Nora Lois Neal celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on March 29 at Perkins Restaurant.
The couple were married on March 25, 1943, in McAlester, Okla.
Guy and Nora Lois are longtime residents of Lawrence. Guy attended Haskell Indian Nations University from 1937-1940 when he entered the Army with the Haskell unit. He was awarded the rank of Battlefield Commission. After World War II, he attended and graduated from Panhandle A&M College, Okla., in 1950. Guy worked for Williams Natural Gas Pipeline in Lawrence. He retired in 1982 as the district superintendent.
They have five children: Dwayne and Kate Neal, Olathe; Dayna Hunter, Olathe; Patty Lancaster, Augusta; Janice and Joe Toth, Kansas City, Mo.; and James and Deena Neal, Rawlins, Wyo.
They have 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mike and Sally Van Zuiden will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family luncheon on Sunday.
The couple were married at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa, on April 9, 1948. They have seven children. They have 13 grandchildren, and soon to be 13 great-grandchildren.
The couple live in Lawrence.
