ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The World Company is a communications and media company based in Lawrence, Kansas, and is widely considered one of the most innovative news and media organizations in the country. The World Company's software division, Mediaphormedia, is seeking an Account Executive to work exclusively with sales for Ellington CMS and Marketplace
( www.ellingtoncms.com ), our content management and online business directory platforms targeting news and media industries. Position will manage a list of assigned leads and will also generate a high percentage of new leads independently through cold and warm calling and email marketing.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, team-oriented sales person with working knowledge of computers and various computer systems; excellent customer service skills; inside sales and relationship management skills; webinar product demonstration with ability to make compelling presentations to clients; negotiation and persuasive selling skills; initiative to consistently meet sales goals; strong communication skills; business-to- business sales experience; technical support experience helpful; and experience in software sales preferred.
