Strength contest hits downtown Lawrence

Eudora family mourns loss of husband, father
A Eudora man was killed while working on a construction site in Overland Park. The family is mourning the loss but remembering the man who could fix and do anything.

Police investigating reported armed robbery
Eudora police are investigating a reported armed robbery that took place early Sunday morning. A woman reported having her purse taken in the 1300 block of Ash Street.

A new medical center in Lawrence is treated patients not only for physical ailments but also in the spiritual realm. Practitioners at New Life in Christ offer the services for free, though a donation is accepted.

A Lawrence dental clinic that provides care for the uninsured is seeking help from more volunteer dentists. The wait for an appointment has grown to six weeks.
