As a cold front approaches this afternoon and evening, Northeast Kansas will be under the threat for strong and severe storms. The main threats through the evening will be high winds and large hail, but an isolated tornado is possible. Storms will begin to form between 3 PM and 6 PM and continue to move east through the area. With many after-school activities, including high school football in the planner tonight, make sure you keep an eye to the sky and have your weather radios in alert mode.
