Lawrence man sentenced for June crime
A Lawrence man was sentenced to more than two years in jail for a crime he committed in June. The man was arrested for aggravated battery after attacking his roommate with a razor blade.

School bus accident leaves kids shaken
A school bus accident left several students and adults shaken but not seriously injured Wednesday. The bus had the right-of-way when it was struck by another vehicle.

Gameday returning to Allen Fieldhouse

The Free State volleyball team only returns three players from last season's team. The new-look Firebirds will have to work in the young talent in order to have a successful season.

Kansas chimp sets birth record
A 56-year-old chimpanzee in Kansas just gave birth to a baby female chimp. The mother is the oldest chimp to give birth in captivity.
