Temperatures will take a big jump again this afternoon with a 10 a.m. temperature of 85 degrees and an afternoon high of 96 degrees. Expect the wind to pick up to 10-20 mph out of the south with gusts near 25 mph this afternoon. Our heat index readings will push 100 degrees or more during the hottest part of the afternoon. Some showers will be possible tonight as we get closer to midnight.
