Saving the T was by far my highest priority in voting, simply because I've spoken to many struggling, almost-homeless people who use the T to get to work and other places they need to go. Having a car should not be a requirement for employment and survival, and as Lawrence gets bigger we're going to need better public transit to help people who can't or choose not to drive.

Prop 8 is passing so far in California. I am very pleased that there is a state in the country that realizes the truth.

or Prop 8 is fighting in California. I hope the people in California realize gay marriage is not a threat to anyone.

tunahelper mentions the K-State/Prince possible firing; well one K-Stater did get fired last night. After revealing his real morality and honesty, Roger Pine was fired from the Kansas Senate. What about that holier-than-thou attitude. Good riddance!

Hey blindrabbit at least we won't have to bother defeating Brownback in 2010. He's already said he isn't seeking re-election. It's soooooo refreshing to see the neocon religious right getting swept out the door.
