Wild Art, October 2006

Donning a homemade costume of a monster from the children's book "Where the Wild Things Are," Michael Stubbs, a Free State High School senior, secures his head as he navigates the hallways. Stubbs and about 75 other art students participated in a Brown Bag Fashion Show on Tuesday, in which they made costumes of paper bags. "I didn't get much sleep last night," said Stubbs, who was up most of the night preparing his costume made of brown paper, glue and paint.
