A 20-year-old Indiana woman suffered head injuries Tuesday afternoon in a rollover wreck on westbound Interstate 70 near Lecompton. Megan M. Hodgin, Indianapolis, was flown by air ambulance to University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kan. She was driving a 1998 Dodge sedan west at 3:23 p.m. when another driver who was speeding and driving erratically crashed a Nissan four-door into her car from behind and knocked it into a barrier wall, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority. An 18-year-old passenger in Hodgin's vehicle, Maxwell E. Wright, was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with an abrasion on his knee. Hodgin was wearing a seat belt, but a report does not indicate whether Wright was. The driver of the vehicle that collided with Hodgin's, 41-year-old Fernando O. Ochoa-Giron of Kansas City, Mo., was not seriously injured. An update on Hodgin's condition was not available Tuesday night.
